This is the website for Mr. Y's Biology and Physics classes.  Be sure to check the proper course links for useful dates, and look for uploaded Power-Point presentations or you-tube links.   Welcome to Albuquerque High, we are very excited to have you all with us this year! 

This is my eighth year with APS, and I have been fortunate enough to be a science educator for over 10 years and at several other districts as well.  Although I generally prefer the life sciences, I do have experience teaching Environmental Science, Anatomy, Health, a little Chemistry and a course that I created called Health and the Environment. I enjoy presenting science not as a difficult subject to get through, but rather as a fascinating and common sense subject.         

I am originally from upstate of New York, and attended the University of New Mexico.  I majored in biology and then went on to get a Masters degree in education.  I've worked at the Albuquerque Zoo, a veterinary hospital, and the Botanical Gardens.  Beside Albuquerque High, I have also taught students at Bernalillo High, Atrisco Heritage Academy, Valley High, St. Piux, The Bosque school and at an International School in China.
